The lets get some fancy proxies thread.

Postby ilovejess2 » Fri Mar 05, 2010 1:16 pm

I have been throwing this idea around for a while and there has been a little interest so I thought I would try and get it organized. Here is the gist..

1) I have no power, I am not going to be buying any power in the near future. I fancy mucking around casually with a little vintage.

2) I want to get some power proxied but I want them to look awesome.

3) Awesome proxies require awesome printers.

4) Awesome printing is expensive especially for a dozen or so pieces of paper the size of magic cards.

5) If loads of us do this together hopefully it will be cheaper

What do people think?

We have a local printers that specialises in cards. They print every type of card imaginable. If you want, I can contact them and ask them what their minimum volume would be and how much?

They are able to foil.
Cheers

If you can do that I might start thinking about actually building a budget Vintage deck.

in the meantime this site does nice full size proxies - all you have to do is type the card in.

http://magic.bluebones.net/proxies/

i'm not sure it has been updated for worldwake but they look good if printed in colour
