RICHMOND LEGACY LEAGUE

In association with TWAU, Richmond Games Club and Magic Players

The Richmond Legacy League is a Magic The Gathering Legacy League based in South West London which holds monthly tournaments. We play on the first Thursday of every month. Anyone can turn up and play any number of our events. We like to play competitively but are a friendly bunch who have been know to lend decks to those not equipped.

NEXT EVENT:
Thursday 2nd September 2010

Room opens at 7.00pm
Registration opens at 7.15pm
Tournament begins at 7.45pm

Format:
Legacy
(Modified Swiss) 3 Rounds
DCI Sanctioned
Regular Rules Enforcement: Decklists are NOT required

Entrance Fee and Prizes
Entrance Fee: £6
Prizes: 1xBooster per player
End of Season Prizes: First, Second and Third place will receive and additional prize at the end of the season.

Venue and directions:
Upstairs @ The Old Ship Pub, Richmond, London

The nearest station is Richmond (District Line and National Rail Services).
The fast Overground train from Waterloo takes 15 minutes. The club is five minutes walk away from the station. You have to turn left out of the station, walk straight towards and then through the high street.

How the League Works:
Every week points won by each player are added to their running totals. Those on the same points total are seperated by an average of their OMW%.

FAQ
Q. Do I have to play in all events in order to take part in the league?
A. No. You are welcome to play in as many events as you wish.
Q. Do I have to play the same deck at every event in a Season?
A. No.
Q. Are there prizes for winning the individual events or just for those who do well in the league?
A. Yes. Booster prizes, the number of which are determined by the number of players, will be awarded to the top finishing players each month.

Hiya,

No need to pre-register, just turn up on the day and you can play. Swiss modified is just the way the tournament runs (it means you play all the rounds whether you win/draw or lose, as opposed to single elimination and others), it does not effect the way the actual game is played.

Hi Hugues, I mailed you this morning about the forum. :) Welcome and see you on the 30th July.

You may be able to play some Vintage in Reading in September I believe. The Reading tournaments alternate between Vintage and Legacy which is quite cool. :D
